SULTANA RAISINS

Our sultana raisins mostly come from well-known local farmers and they are mainly produced from the Vitis Vinifera of which the seedless cultivar is the most common. 5 kilos of sun dried fresh grapes are needed to produce just 1 kilo of sultanas. These naturally sweet and moist fruits are brown color. They are processed as whole. They are harvested in September and early October and dried naturally in special drying plates under the sun. The drying can take from a week to 10 days until the moisture content has been reduced.

Sultana raisins don’t contain any additive or preservatives, SO2 free and should be kept in cool and dry conditions.
